The working mom hair

Don't try to deny it. You know we have all gotten up late, hitting snooze one to many times! You don't have time for a shower, so you go with a simple hairstyle for work that will hopefully fool people to believing you are a clean polished mom of the year.
Right!
Well, I loved when I had long hair. Before I got the great idea to donate 10 inches back to a short bob.  I could quickly make my hair into something acceptable in just a few minutes.  With shorter hair it is becoming more difficult! But, some of these tips might help you when you have 30 minutes to get yourself and your kids ready to go in the morning.
#1 - Dry Shampoo. Yes, go buy it. Right now. Seriously, don't wait.  As a person that tends to have greasy roots overnight - go get it!

#2 - Buns.  I loved throwing my hair in a bun for work. With a little makeup and cute earrings you can once again you can hide your morning rush!

#3 - Hairspray.  Worst case scenario I throw some hairspray in my hair while my head is upside down to give it some volume. If you have an extra minute throw a hair dryer on it, brush, and go.

#4 - Bump up the front. Since I have short hair, I often go for this one. I grab a couple bobby pins, grab the front part of my hair, tease the back and put those bobby pins in to hold. Hair spray will keep it in place and you are good to go!

So, next time you have to run out the door in a jiffy, hopefully one of these tips will help you make it to work without looking disheveled.
